Hi, I'm Cat! As mentioned on the main page, I really enjoy space travel, making and looking at art, programming, old (I guess "vintage" now, if you go by the "older than 25 years" rule) tech, and building websites! In fact, if you haven't noticed, you're on a website for old tech that I built using a tool I programmed, where I host things I've done that could be considered art!

To make the attribute-heavy markup style I'm using more bearable to write, I wrote a site generator called WebCreate. It works using a syntax based lightly on Dylan Beattie's HTML 0.2 from his talk ** The Web That Never Was , which itself is based loosely on TeX. I'd ** previously implemented a transpiler from "HTML 0.2" to standard HTML, and the syntax of escape-tag(attributes){content} is just so nice and easy to work with that I've reused it multiple times for multiple different projects, primarily webcreate and my unreleased CSML markup language.

The webcreate code is up ** here, though because neocities won't let me upload files with nonstandard extensions (for obvious reasons) you won't get to see the source of this site.

This site attempts compatibility with as many browsers as possible. Unfortunately, I can only do so much. The site functions perfectly in IE5 and Mozilla 1.0, is passable in Navigator 4 and IE3, and is acceptable in Navigator 3+ and IE 2.
